A truly inspirational day of sourdough making. What Vicky doesn't know about bread making, clearly isn't worth knowing! We packed so much into our day; learning about heritage grains and milling, making our own sourdough starter, through to, how to make a sponge, kneading and baking loaves, flat breads and cottage buns. What fun, in a beautiful workshop and lots of goodies to take home. Vicky is a lovely thoughtful lady, with lots of knowledge and a passion for good food. - Tracey

Would thoroughly recommend a course at the baking school, Vicky is an excellent teacher who has a real passion for all things related to baking. I attended a basic bread making course today and it was fantastic. We made and baked 3 different loaves, which we took home, still lovely and warm straight from the oven. You will learn about flour milling, different flours, kneading bread and more importantly how to tell when it's fully baked. I had a great day and it was a wonderful Christmas present from my partner. Would make a wonderful gift for anyone wanting to know more about baking bread. - Alka
